The Senior Moving Process

Sometimes an elder parent can’t live alone any longer. They fall a lot, can’t remember if they took their pills, forget to eat. Depression seyts in over the condition of the house and yard. They can no longer be trusted to drive their car. The decision to move a senior doesn’t come easy. A senior mother recently decided to move from her Oregon home of 35 years to be closer to her children in Springfield. The senior moving process began years before the actual move. It is also stressful for the children. They may have ship the furniture for the smaller new house or senior care facility and sell off assets including the house.
